35 Loaves of Kindness

A Birthday Gift Shared With Our Community

I’m turning 35 this May, and this year I want my birthday to look different.

Instead of receiving, I’m choosing to give.

So I’ll be baking 35 Loaves of sourdough - one for every year of my life - and placing them into the hands of our community to be passed on to someone else.

Not kept.

Not stored away.

But shared.

🤍The Heart Behind This

Bread has always felt like more than food to me.

It’s connection.

It’s care.

It’s something that belongs at a table where people are gathered and seen.

And lately, I keep feeling how much we need each other - not in a surface way, but in a real, steady, don’t do life alone kind of way.

This project actually began back in November 2024 with something I called The Giving Loaf - a simple idea of putting bread into people’s hands so they could bless someone else.

And at Christmas, you helped turn it into something even bigger - through our Community Loaf Fund - giving generously to a local nonprofit and reminding me what this community is capable of.

The 35 Loaves of Kindness feels like a continuation of that same story.

A reminder that generosity multiplies when it’s shared.

🥖How It Works

It’s simple:

  1. Claim a loaf below

  2. Pick it up on Saturday, May 2nd

  3. Give it away to someone God places on your heart

🤍Who It’s For

You might already know who you want to give yours to.

Or maybe you’ll think of them later.

A new mom running on no sleep.

Someone walking through a heavy season.

A friend who has quietly carried so much.

Someone who has encouraged you more than they know.

Or simply someone you can’t stop thinking about.

Whoever comes to mind… that may be exactly who it’s meant for.
